Dr. Tierra Parker
Special Education Program Specialist
Dr. Tierra Parker is the K-8 Program Specialist for both Lighthouse and Lodestar campuses, supporting the Special Education program. Dr. Parker is a recent graduate of the University of Miami c/o 2022 with a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership. She comes to LCPS with a wealth of knowledge, as she started her educational journey over a decade ago as a Middle and High School Special Education teacher in Baltimore City as well as Washington DC, and Northern Virginia. She also spent time in higher education supporting college students with diverse learning needs. Dr. Parker continues to be an advocate for students from underrepresented and marginalized populations, especially those students of color with disabilities and looks forward to continuing this work here at LCPS.
