Both Lighthouse and Lodestar offer after-school care and programs Monday through Friday, beginning immediately upon dismissal and ending at 6:00 pm (6:30 pm on Wednesdays). 

Program Structure

Snacks: Students have access to fruit-based and grain/dairy snacks daily.

Academic and Literacy support: Each student receives up to 1 hour per day of various academic support activities (timed reading, homework assistance, etc.)

Enrichment classes built to support well-rounded learning opportunities: Enrichment classes offer students opportunities to engage, develop, and hone skills, abilities, and talents through arts, fitness, and more. More information about athletics is located on our Athletics page.

Program Costs

Program costs for families are based on Free and Reduced Lunch qualifying status. If you qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch, please share your eligibility letter demonstrating your income status.  Upon application receipt, we will communicate to you your program costs and processes based on your FRL status as below:

• Not qualifying for Free and Reduced Lunch: $285/month
• Qualifying for Free and Reduced Lunch: No cost (participation costs covered by ASES grant)
