Dr. Latora Baldridge is honored to serve as the Head of School for Lodestar TK–12, where she is committed to building a joyful, inclusive, and academically rigorous community in which every student is known, challenged, and inspired to thrive.
With 17 years in education and seven years in school leadership, Dr. Baldridge has served students across elementary, middle, and high school as an Education Specialist, General Education teacher, Instructional Coach, Dean of Instruction, and Principal, supporting learners with diverse strengths and needs.
A lifelong Oakland resident, she focuses on culturally responsive pedagogy, inclusive practices, and student voice. Dr. B holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from USC, a Master’s from Touro University, and a Bachelor’s from San Jose State.
Dr. Baldridge believes that education has the power to transform lives and communities. Her leadership is grounded in the conviction that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Dr. Baldridge is proud to lead the Lodestar community in preparing students from TK through 12th grade to learn, lead, and make a meaningful difference in the world.
