Kathleen’s career in education began in the expanded learning field in Chico, California, where she developed a deep appreciation for the interconnected nature of student learning across the classroom, after-school programs, and the home. This foundation shaped her belief that student success is supported through a comprehensive and collaborative approach to education.

Since joining Lighthouse Community Public Schools, Kathleen has served in several roles, each expanding her understanding of instructional systems. She currently serves as Director of Assessments & Performance Management, where she leads districtwide efforts related to assessment, data strategy, accountability, and academic support. Her work includes guiding Charter Renewal and accountability processes, analyzing and communicating student achievement data to school leaders, overseeing assessment and compliance initiatives, and coordinating curriculum procurement to ensure schools have the resources needed to support student success.
