Megan Bacigalupi joined LCPS in 2023 as the Chief of Staff. She is a lawyer with more than 20 years of experience working across government, nonprofit, and public education sectors. Prior to joining LCPS she founded CA Parent Power and has been a passionate advocate for early literacy reform and dyslexia screening in California. Megan brings deep expertise in government affairs, governance, and regulatory compliance. Her work focuses on strengthening organizational effectiveness, accountability, and public impact. She is committed to advancing equitable access to high-quality education and youth development opportunities in her Oakland community. Outside of LCPS, she serves as the President of both Clippers FC and Association FC, two nonprofit youth soccer clubs in Oakland.
