Anna Martin joined Lighthouse in 2014 as the Director of Talent. Previously, she was a Leadership and Instructional Coach in OUSD, providing support to teachers and leaders and building a teacher leadership cohort at Oakland schools with School Improvement Grants. Prior to that work, Anna spent 8 years working at Lee Mathson Middle School in San Jose as a Professional Learning Facilitator and Lead Humanities Teacher, where she began as a Teach for America corps member. She is a National Board Certified educator, leadership and instructional coach, and talent strategist committed to building the systems needed to ensure that historically underserved students receive an excellent, equitable, and empowering education.
