A four-week Summer School Program will begin on Monday, June 5th, for qualifying students who are currently enrolled in grades K-8 at both Lighthouse Community Public Schools (LCPS) — Lighthouse and Lodestar. The LCPS K-8 Summer Program provides students with additional academic instruction based on individual student needs beyond the regular school year. Students were selected based on academic assessments given during the school year. Important details are listed below:

• This is a REQUIRED program. If your student is unable to attend in person, please contact our Family Engagement Coordinators to further discuss alternative arrangements.
• All students will be participating in math and literacy instruction each day
• Dates: June 5th - June 30th (June 19th is a Holiday)
• Class time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday – Friday
• Classes will be held at the Lodestar Campus at 701 105th Ave, Oakland, CA 94603
• Breakfast and Lunch will be provided at no cost for all students
• Please plan to attend Summer Program EXPO, from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on June 30th
