For the past 24 years, Mr. Vasquez has dedicated his career to creating environments where students from traditionally underserved areas can thrive. Many of his former students have gone on to graduate at the top of their class, attend Ivy League universities, and some have even returned to work in education. The best classrooms Mr. Vasquez has taught have one thing in common: students feel seen, loved, and affirmed in their identity. His goal is to ensure that every teacher and school leader he works with can achieve the same impact.

As an Assistant Principal of Instruction, Mr. Vasquez focuses on collaborating with school leaders, setting strong instructional visions, and providing academic coaching. He is passionate about inspiring educators to keep showing up for students, from Bushwick to Oakland.
