As a public, tuition-free charter school, we receive funding from the State of California to operate. But in order to provide arts, counseling, after-school programming, college and career services, and academic intervention—to us, not extras but essentials—we raise up to 10% of our budget every year from our generous donors. We could not do this work without a large, dedicated community of individuals and institutions. We are deeply grateful.
